செருமனி ஆயுதங்களைக் களைந்து நிராயுதபாணியாக வேண்டும் என்றும், சில நாடுகளுக்கு அவர்களுக்குரிய நிலப் பகுதிகளை விட்டுக்கொடுக்க வேண்டுமென்றும், நட்புறவு நாடுகளாக உருவான சில நாடுகளுக்கு இழப்பீட்டுத் தொகையும் வழங்கவேண்டும் என்றும் ஒப்பந்தம் செருமனியை வலியுறுத்தியது.

1986 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தொடக்க மாதங்களில், நியூயார்க் நகரத்தைச் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் பல்வேறு இசை நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்த அவர்கள் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தனர்.

1997 தமிழ்த் திரைப்படங்கள் 1950 இந்திய-நேபாள அமைதி மற்றும் நட்பு உடன்படிக்கை (1950 India-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship) நேபாளம் மற்றும் இந்தியா ஆகிய இரு நாடுகளின் அரசுகளுக்கு இடையே அமைதி மற்றும் நட்பை தொடர்ந்து பேணுவதற்கு, 31 சூலை 1950 அன்று ஏற்படுத்திக் கொண்ட இருதரப்பு ஒப்பந்தம் ஆகும்.

பிரெஸ்ட்-லிடோவ்ஸ்க் ஒப்பந்தம் மூலம், ரசியா, முதலாம் உலகப்போரில் மைய சக்திகளை எதிர்த்த அதன் உக்ரேனிய, போலிய, பால்டிக் மற்றும் ஃபின்னியப் பகுதிகளை இழந்தது.

இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் இன்றுள்ள  தெற்கு இஸ்ரேல்,பாலஸ்தீனம், ஜோர்டான் , தெற்கு ஈராக் ஆகிய பகுதிகளை  இங்கிலாந்தின் கட்டுப்பாட்டிற்கு ஒதுக்கியது.
