அதே போல் கழுதைப்புலிகள், குட்டை வால் குரங்குகள், மற்றும் சிறுத்தைபுலி போன்ற விலங்குகளை அதிகளவில் பார்க்கலாம்.

பிற ஓமினைன்கள்; ஆன்டிலோப்புகள், கழுதைப்புலிகள், நாய்கள், பன்றிகள், யானைகள், குதிரைகள் போன்றவற்றுடன் நிலநடுக்கோட்டுப் பகுதிக்கு வெளியேயுள்ள வரண்ட சூழலுக்குத் தகவு பெற்றிருக்கக்கூடும்.

பொதுவாக இவ்வகை கழுதைப்புலிகள் உருவத்தில் மிகச் சிறிதாகக் காணப்பட்டாலும், பேரினங்கள் இழந்த சில பாலூட்டியின் குணங்களை பழமை மாறாமல் அப்படியே கொண்டுள்ளது.

கோடிட்ட கழுதைப்புலிகள் பொதுவாக முழுமையான இருட்டில் மட்டுமே தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்.
