இதில் முன் பாய்மரம் மற்றப் பாய்மரங்களிலும் உயரம் குறைவானதாகவும் மூன்று பாய்மரங்கள் உள்ள இசுக்கூனர்களில் முதன்மைப் பாய்மரமான நடுப்பாய்மரம் எல்லாவற்றிலும் கூடிய உயரமானதாகவும், பின் பாய்மரம் முன்பாய்மரத்தைவிட உயரம் கூடியதாகவும் காணப்படும்.

பொதுவாக நவீன சுலூப்களில், பாய்மரத்துக்கு முன்புறம் பொருத்தப்படும் ஒற்றைத் தலைப்பாயுடன் முதன்மைப் பாய், பாய்மரத்துக்குப் பின்னால் இருக்கும் வளையில் பொருத்தப்படும்.

முதன்மைப் பாய்மரத்தில் முதன்மைப் பாய் முன்-பின் பாயமைப்பிலும், மேற்பாயும், பெரும்பாலும் உச்சிப் பாயும் குறுக்குப் பாயமைப்பிலும் இருக்கும்.
