அந்த தேர்தலுக்கு பின் வர்சீனியா மேலவையை பேர்வேக்சு கவுண்டி சார்பாக அடையாளப்படுத்தியவர்கள் அனைவரும் மக்களாட்சிக் கட்சினர்.

இதன் நிலவியல் அப்பலாச்சியன் மலைத்தொடருக்கு அருகிலுள்ள மேரிலாந்து, தென் வர்சீனியா ஒப்பாக உள்ளது.

628 நூற்றாண்டின் கோடையில், இடம்பெயர்ந்த கடைசி முஸ்லிம்கள் அபிசீனியாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு மதீனாவில் உள்ள முஸ்லிம் சமூகத்துடன் சேர்ந்தார்கள்.

சீனியானது பல்வேறு தரப்பட்ட தாவரங்களின் இழையத்தில் காணப்படுகின்றது.

இக்கவுண்டியில் உள்ள வட வர்சீனியா தொழில்நுட்ப ஆணையம் என்பது உள்ளூர் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனங்களின் வணிக கூட்டமைப்பாகும்.

நபிகள் நாயகம் காலத்தில் மக்காவில் இஸ்லாத்தினை பின்பற்ற முடியாத சூழ்நிலை ஏற்பட்ட பொழுது, சொந்த நாட்டினை துறந்து சிலர் அபீசீனியாவிற்கு (தற்போதைய எத்தியோப்பியா) ஹிஜ்ரத் செய்தனர்.

பெருவாஸ் எனும் பெயர் மாங்கூஸ்டீன் (mangosteen) மரத்தைப் போன்ற ஓர் உள்ளூர் மரமான பெருவாஸ் மரத்தில் இருந்து பெறப் பட்டதாக நம்பப் படுகிறது (அறிவியல் பெயர்: கார்சீனியா ஹோம்பிரோனியா - Garcinia hombroniana).
