இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில் நகர மண்டபம் (டவுன்ஹால்) கட்ட ஸ்ரீ மூலம் சாஷ்டியப்த பூர்தி நினைவு அறக்கட்டளை என்ற அறக்கட்டளை அமைக்கப்பட்டது.

குறிப்பாக பெரிய கடை வீதி ,ஒப்பணக்கார வீதி, ராஜ வீதி , சேரன் புத்தகக் கடை டவுன்ஹால் ஆகியவை இந்தப் பகுதியில் தான் அமைந்துள்ளது.

மலையாளத்தில் இருந்து தமிழுக்கு மொழிமாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்ட திரைப்படங்கள் நகர மண்டபம் அல்லது டவுன்ஹால், கோயம்புத்தூர் (Town Hall Coimbatore) என்பது, இந்தியாவின் கோயம்புத்தூரில் உள்ள ஒரு நியோ-பாரம்பரிய நகராட்சி கட்டிடம் ஆகும்.

இதனையொட்டி, 14 செப்டம்பர் 2019 அன்று, பெங்களுருவில், பல்வேறு கன்னட மொழி ஆர்வலர்கள், அவ்வூரின் நகரக்கூடம் (டவுன்ஹால்) எனும் பகுதியிலிருந்து விடுதலை பூங்கா (ஃபிரீடம் பார்க்) பகுதி வரை, இந்தி நாள் (ஹிந்தி திவாஸ்) கொண்டாடுதலை எதிர்த்து கண்டன ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்களை நடத்தினர்.

டவுன்ஹால் மற்றும் ஓவிய காட்சியகம் (ஆர்ட் கேலரி) போன்றவை பூங்காவை ஒட்டியுள்ளன.

1952 ஆம் ஆண்டில் டவுன்ஹால் கட்டிடத்தில் மாவட்ட மத்திய நூலகம் திறக்கப்பட்டது.

townhall's Usage Examples:

On the adjacent Marienplatz are the old townhall, dating from the 14th century and restored in 1865, and the new town-hall, the latter a magnificent modern Gothic erection, freely embellished with statues, frescoes, and stainedglass windows, and enlarged in 1900-1905.

The interesting Renaissance townhall was built in 1554 (restored in 1879).

Notable are the two Roman Catholic churches, beautiful Gothic edifices of the -14th century, the Protestant church, and the handsome townhall.

The other public buildings include an episcopal palace, a townhall and numerous churches.

The public buildings include two hospitals, a townhall, music hall, library and reading room and science institute.

The Butter Cross, a beautiful example of timber work of the date 1633, was removed when the townhall was building, and re-erected in the pleasure ground of the Grange.
