1970 ஆரம்பத்தில் யாழ்ப்பாண மேடைகளில் நடத்தப்பட்டு வந்த சுண்டிக்குளி நாடக மன்றத்தின் "அடங்காப்பிடாரி" என்ற நாடகத்தின் சில நகைச்சுவைக் காட்சிகள் இப்படத்தின் இடையில் புகுத்தப்பட்டன.

கிராமங்களில் ஒருவர் யாருக்கும் கட்டுப்படாமல் இருந்தால், அல்லது பெற்றோர்களுக்குக் கட்டுப்படாதவர்க்ளை அடங்காப்பிடாரி என்ற பெயரில் அழைப்பர்.

மேலும் அடக்கமே இல்லாத மனைவியை அடங்காப்பிடாரி என்றும் அழைப்பர்.
