சிகைக் கழுவி பயன்படுத்தி முடியைக் கழுவுவதால், முடியிலிருந்த அழுக்குகள் மட்டுமின்றி மயிரடிச்சுரப்புகளும் நீக்கப்படுகின்றன.

தலைக்குப் போடுகிற ஷாம்புவை தண்ணீரில் கரைத்து தொப்புளில் ஊற்றி சிறிது நேரம் ஊற வைத்து பஞ்சால் துடைத்து விட்டால் அழுக்குகள் இருந்த இடம் தெரியாமல் போய்விடும்.
