முழுமையான உருமாற்றம் நிகழும் பூச்சிகளில் முட்டை, குடம்பி, கூட்டுப்புழு, முதிர்நிலை எனப்படும் முக்கியமான நான்கு விருத்தி நிலைகள் காணப்படும்.
