உடல் உயிரணுக்கள், பாக்டீரியா, பிற ஒரு செல் உயிரி (அ) பல செல் உயிரிகள் சுற்றுச்சூழலிலுள்ள சில வேதிப்பொருள்களுக்கேற்பத் தங்களின் அசைவுகளை மேற்கொள்கின்றன.

இதன் இலைகள் பிறத் தாவர இலைகளைப் போல பல செல்களின் சேர்க்கையால் ஆனவை.

ஆனாலும் பலர் திருட்டுத்தனமாக முத்துச் சேகரித்து ஐரோப்பாவின் பல செல்வக் குடும்பங்களுக்கு விற்பனை செய்கின்றனர்.

ஆனால் பல இலைகள் இங்கேயே பல செல்வந்தர்களின் வீடுகளில் இருப்பு வைத்துக் கொண்டனர்.

அந்த காலத்தில் இல்லுமினாட்டி சட்டப்பூர்வமாக இயங்குவதற்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த போது பல செல்வாக்குள்ள அறிஞர்கள் மற்றும் முற்போக்கான அரசியல்வாதிகள் தங்களை அதன் உறுப்பினர்களாக அறிவித்தனர்.
