பின்னர் தாய்லாந்தின் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் இவரை பிரதமர் பதவிக்கு போட்டியிட தகுதியற்றது எனக் கூறி, முறையாக இவரது வேட்புமனுவை முடிவுக்கு கொண்டுவந்தது.
