ஹசித் தனது இலக்கியப் பணிகளுக்காக பல விருதுகளை வென்றுள்ளார்.

1996 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அர்ஜன் ஹசித்: ஒரு ஆய்வு என்ற புத்தகம் அவரது வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் படைப்புகளின் அடிப்படையில் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.

ரமேஷ் சந்திர ஷா எழுதிய ஜெய்சங்கர் பிரசாத் (1995) என்ற இந்தி புத்தகத்தையும் அர்ஜன் ஹசித் மொழிபெயர்த்தார்.

2006 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஹசித்தின் சாஹி பாட்ஜே என்ற தொகுப்பு வெளியிடப்பட்டது.

பின்னர் "ஹசித்" என்ற புனைப் பெயரைப் பெற்றார்.

இவர் அர்ஜன் ஹசித் என்ற புனைப் பெயரால் பிரபலமாக அறியப்படுகின்றார்.
