எடுத்துக்காட்டு: செல்வம், குழுந்தைகள், பதவி, பட்டம், புகழ், இன்பம், மழை, சொர்க்கம், மற்றும் விரும்பிய மற்ற வேண்டுதல்கள் நிறைவேறுவதற்கு செய்யும் வேள்விகள், யக்ஞம், பூசைகள், மற்றும் விரதங்களை காம்ய கர்மம் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

இவற்றில் எந்தக் குறையும் இல்லாமல் பிறந்திருக்கும் ஒருவன் தன்னிடமுள்ள செல்வத்தால் அறம், பொருள், இன்பம் மூன்றும் துய்த்து, பிறர் துய்க்கத் தந்து வாழவேண்டும் என்று ஒரு பாடலில் குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.

இதனால் பொது மொழியினின்று விளம்பர மொழியில் பிற மொழிக் கலப்பு மிகுதியாக இன்பம் பெறுகின்றது.

இவற்றுள் ஓர் ஆணும், பெண்ணும் காதலால் இணைந்து தமக்குள்ளே இன்பம் துய்த்து வாழ்தல் அக வாழ்வு ஆகும்.
