இவர் பாண்டவர்களுடன் சூதாடி, அவர்களுடைய நாட்டை தனது மருமகனுக்கு வென்று கொடுத்தார்.

இவர்கள் எழுவரும் இந்தியன் பிரீமியர் லீக் ஆட்டங்களை வைத்து சூதாடியதாக குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ள காவல்துறை கைபேசிகள், கணினிகள், தொலைக்காட்சிப்பெட்டிகள் மற்றும் மிகுந்த பணம் ஆகியவற்றைக் கைப்பற்றியுள்ளனர்.

வழியில் "லக்பேஷ்வா" எனும் பெயர் கொண்ட அழகிய ஒரு பெண் நடத்தும் சூதாட்ட விடுதி ஒன்றைக் கண்டு அதில் நடக்கும் "பகடை" ஆட்டத்தில் வென்றால் அப்பெண் தம் வசப்படுவாள் என அறிந்து ஆசையால் சூதாடி சகோதரர்கள் இருவரும் தங்களை அடிமைகளாக சூதாட்டத்தில் அப்பெண்ணிடம் தோற்று இழந்து விடுகின்றனர்.

ஒரு கிரிக்கெட்டு பந்தயத்தில் சூதாடியதன் குறிப்பு ஒரு 1646ஆம் ஆண்டு நீதிமன்ற வழக்குப் பதிவேட்டில் காணப்படுகிறது.

இதன் படப்பிடிப்பின்போது, மேசைகள் ஒன்றினில் விளையாடும் சூதாடியாக பின்னணிப் பாத்திரம் ஒன்றில் ஸ்கோர்செஸி நடித்தார்.
