இதிலிருந்து கீவி பெரிய பயனுள்ள இறக்கைகளையுடைய மரபிலே பிறந்திருக்க வேண்டும்; ஆயினும் கீவி வசிக்கும் இடங்களில் தற்காலம் வரை, அதற்கு எதிரிகள் இல்லையென்பதால், அவை பறக்கத் தேவையில்லை ; ஆதலால் படிப்படியாக இறக்கைகள் சிறுத்துப் பயனற்று வந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற பரிணாமக் கொள்கைத் தெரிகிறது.
