ஆனால் காணப்படாத அந்த சூட்சுமப் பொருளிலிருந்தே பெரிய ஆலமரம் உண்டாகி நிற்கிறது.

இந்தியாவின் இலையுதிர்காடுகளில் காணப்படும் ஆலமரம் தேசிய மரமாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டது.

கலிபோர்னியம் சேர்மங்கள் திம்மம்மா ஆலமரம் அல்லது திம்மமாமா மரிமானு ( தெலுங்கு : తిమ్మమ్మ మర్రిమాను, ) என்பது ஆந்திரப் பிரதேசத்தின் அனந்தபூர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள கதிரி நகரில் இருந்து 25 கிலோமீட்டரில் தொலைவில் உள்ள ஒரு பெரிய ஆல மரமாகும்.

ஆறு மற்றும் குளத்தை தன் எதிரோ கொண்டுள்ள அபூர்வமான இத்தலத்தில் அரசமரத்தோடு ஆலமரம் இணைந்திருப்பதும் புனிதமாக கருதப்படுகிறது.

இதன் அருகில் அமைந்துள்ள ஒரு ஆலமரம் 400 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் பழமையானதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

லெனின் அமைதிப் பரிசு பெற்றவர்கள் அடையாறு ஆலமரம் (ஆங்கிலம்:Adayar Banyan Tree) என அழைக்கப்படுவது சென்னை அடையாரில் அமைந்துள்ள ஆலமரம் ஆகும்.
