ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਜਨਗਾਉਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਲਨੁਮਾ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ੲਿਥੇ ਹਰ ਜਾਤ ਤੇ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਤੇਲੀ,ਭਰਾੲੀ,ਨਾੲੀ,ਝਿੳੁਰ,ਸੁਨਿਅਾਰ,ਛਿਬੇ,ਜੁਲਾਹੇ,ਬਾਣਿੲੇ,ਮ੍ਹਜਬੀ ਸਿੰਘ,ਰਾਮਦਾਸੀੲੇ,ਲੁਹਾਰ,ਤਰਖਾਣ, ਪੰਡਤ ,ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੋਕਾਰ ਮੰਹਤ,ਜਟ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰ ਅਾਪਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਹਿਰਦਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰ ਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਬੋਲਬਾਲਾ ਸੀ,ਜਿਸਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਇਥੇ ਜੱਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਾ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੀ,ਇਥੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਜਾਤ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾ ਅਧੀਨ ਨੋਕਰੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਇੱਥੇ ਆ ਕਿ ਟਿਕ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਭੋਤਨਾਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਤੋਂ ਸੇਖੋਂ ਗੋਤ ਦੇ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਥੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਦੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਜਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਕਿ ਵਸਾਇਆ।

ਹਲ+ਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅੰਗ 'ਹਲ' ਤੇ 'ਵਾਹ' ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਹਨ,ਜਿਨਾ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਤੋ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਹਲਵਾਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਵਿਉਤਪਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕਿਰਸਾਣ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰ।

ਇਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਵਸੋਂ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।

ਆਪ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਤੁਕ ਦੇ ਅਖੀਰ ਤੇ ਹੂ ਆਉਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਗੀਤਕ ਲੈ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਏਸੇ ਹੂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਬਾਹੂ ਦੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਹੋਰ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਨਿਖੇੜੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਬਾਹੂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਝੰਗ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਜਿਮੀਦਾਰ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਬਾਹੂ ਵੀ ਕੁੜ ਚਿਰਖੇਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਆਮ ਸੂਫ਼ੀ ਫਕੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਲਟ ਬਾਹੂ ਬੜੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ-ਸ਼ੌਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
