bhakti शब्द के हिंदी अर्थ का उदाहरण:

भक्ति आन्दोलन के संस्थापक रामानन्द (लगभग 1400-1470 ई.) का प्रतिपादन था कि, किसी व्यक्ती की मुक्ति ‘लिंग’ या ‘जाति’ पर आश्रित नहीं होती।

अर्थात-- गोमाता में जिसकी भक्ति हो, प्रणव जिसका पूज्य मन्त्र हो, पुनर्जन्म में जिसका विश्वास हो--वही हिन्दू है।

गुजरात में शैववाद के साथ-साथ वैष्णववाद भी लंबे समय से फलता-फूलता रहा है, जिनसे भक्ति मत का उद्भव हुआ।

स्वास्थ्यं प्रतिभाभ्यासो भक्तिर्विद्वत्कथा बहुश्रुतता।
