ਰੋਮਨ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ, ਇਹ ਸੋਗ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਮੌਤ, ਬੁਰਾਈ, ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਦੂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਉਹ ਭਗਵਾਂਨ‌ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਵੱਸੀ ਹੋਈ ਨਾਗ ਜਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂਨੇ ਇਸ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਮਰੁਸਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਬਸਾਇਆ ਜੋ ਨਾਗਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਅਨੌਖਾ ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਹਰੇ ਭਰੇ , ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ।

16 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ– ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਸ਼ਪ ਹਿਊ ਲੈਟੀਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਸ਼ਪ ਨਿਕੋਲਸ ਰਿਡਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਸੂਲੀ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਸਾੜਨ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਸਟੀਫਨ ਅਤੇ ਏਂਸ਼ੀਐਂਟ ਵੰਨ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਖਿਲਵਾੜ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੌਰਡੋ ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

16 ਫ਼ਰਵਰੀ – ਕੈਥੋਲਿਕ ਪੋਪ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀ ਦੀ ਹਮਾਇਤ ਕਰੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਹ ਦਿਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਵਰੇਖਮ ਨੋਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੀਰਾ ਦੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰੀ ਤਜ਼ਰਬੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਰਥਕਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ।
