 ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਛੇ ਟਰੋਏ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਟਲੀ ਤੱਕ ਏਨੀਅਸ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਅੱਧਾ ਟਰੋਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ 'ਲੈਟਿਨਾਂ' ਤੇ ਆਖਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਜੇਤੂ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਏਨੀਅਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਟਰੋਜਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ।

1699 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਬੁਲਾਈ।

ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਉਸ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਕਨਫਿਊਸ਼ਸ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਜੋ ਚੰਗੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਏਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਂਭ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਯੁੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ।

ਅਸਤਿਤਵਵਾਦ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਉਸਦੇ  ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ।

ਸੱਯਦ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੇਖੋਂ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
