ਇਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਕਿਲੇ, ਦੋਰ ਕਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੰਡਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਇਸਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਕਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਿਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਕਿਲੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਰੈਫਿਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਕਰ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਕਿਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕ਼ਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਸਕੇ।

ਜਦੋਂ 1712 ਈ. ਵਿੱਚ ਜਹਾਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਇਆ।

ਰਾਣੀ ਕਿਲੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ 'ਚ ਕਾਮਜ਼ਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਉਭਾਵਾਲ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ।

ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਲੇ ਦਾ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਜੰਗ ਨਾਇਕ ਨੇ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ।

ਬਲਾਕ ਘਨੌਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲਾ, ਦਸਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਕਿਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ।
