ਜਦ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਪਾਸ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਏ।
