ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಏಕೀಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಗಲೇ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆಲೂರು ಇವರಿಗಾಗ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
