ಚಾಕು-ಚೂರಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಪರಾಧಿ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಒಂದು ದುರಾಚಾರದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಮತ್ತು "ಇರಿತದ ನಗರ" ಎಂದು ಕೆಲವರಿಂದ ಅಡ್ಡಹೆಸರು ಇಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರೋಮ್‌ನ ಅಪಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇಂಥ ಯಾವುದೇ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆಯೇ 2009ರ ಅಂತಿಮ ಪಂದ್ಯವು ನಡೆದುಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು UEFA ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು.
