ಈ ಪಟಾಕಿಯು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣ-ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತವೆ.

ಬನಹಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷವು ಭಾದ್ರಪದ ಮಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಡಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವರ ತೆರನ್ನು ಬಹು ವಿಜ್ರ೦ಭನೆಯಿ೦ದ ಪಟಾಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸುತ್ತ ಏಳೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪಂದ್ಯ ನೋಡಲು ಕಾತುರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೊ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪಟಾಕಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಅವನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಅವು ಜೀವತುಂಬಿದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪಟಾಕಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವಿನಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರಸಾರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
