ಈ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಭಾರದ್ವಾಜರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು, ಮತ್ತು ಬಯಕೆ, ಕೋಪ, ಭಯ, ದುರಾಸೆ, ದುಃಖ, ಆತಂಕ, ಹಸಿವು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಣಗು ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾನವ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಸಾಧಿಸುತ್ತವೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಪಿತ್ತರಸ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ತ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾನವ ದೇಹಗಳಿಂದ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತವೆ, ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವೇನು?" ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
