इनके अधीन सात-सात 'ताल्लुकेदार' या 'तालुद्दार' होते थे (जन साधारण की भाषा में ये 'दाऊ' कहलाते थे) जो कि अपने अपने ताल्लुके के शासक होते थे।

अमर सेनानी ठाकुर दरियाव सिंह का जन्म ठाकुर खड्ग सिंह द्वारा बसाये खागा नगर में सिंगरौर क्षत्रिय वंश के प्रतिष्ठित ताल्लुकेदार घराने में १७९५ के लगभग हुआ था।

इन्होंने किसानों को निज़ाम और स्थानीय ज़मींदारों (जिन्हें 'देशमुख' के नाम से जाना जाता था) के ख़िलाफ़ जागरूक बनाया।
