बाद में पहली सदी के शुरुआत में इस पर कोल्हापुर के सातवाहन वंश के शासकों का अधिकार स्थापित हुआ और फिर बादामी के चालुक्य शासकों ने इस पर वर्ष 580 से 750 तक राज किया।
