१९९१ में निधन पंडित जगत नारायण मुल्ला (जन्म- 14 दिसम्बर 1864 ई., कश्मीर; मृत्यु- 11 दिसम्बर 1938 ई.) अपने समय में उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रसिद्ध वकील और सरकारी अभियोजक थे।

जगतनारायण 'मुल्ला' को सरकारी पक्ष रखने का काम सौंपा गया जबकि सजायाफ्ता क्रान्तिकारियों की ओर से के०सी० दत्त, जयकरणनाथ मिश्र व कृपाशंकर हजेला ने क्रमशः राजेन्द्रनाथ लाहिड़ी, ठाकुर रोशन सिंह व अशफाक उल्ला खाँ की पैरवी की।

मुस्लिम लीग का 1912 का वार्षिक अधिवेशन नवाब सलीमुल्ला खाँ के सभापतित्व में ढाके में हुआ।

सन् १९१६ के कांग्रेस अधिवेशन में स्वागताध्यक्ष पं॰ जगत नारायण 'मुल्ला के आदेश की धज्जियाँ बिखेरते हुए रामप्रसाद ने जब लोकमान्य बालगंगाधर तिलक की पूरे लखनऊ शहर में शोभायात्रा निकाली तो सभी नवयुवकों का ध्यान उनकी दृढता की ओर गया।

इस लड़ाई में झाँसी की रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, अवध की बेगम हज़रत महल, बख्त खान, नाना साहेब, मौल्वी अहमदुल्ला शाह्, राजा बेनी माधव सिंह्, अजीमुल्लाह खान और अनेक देशभक्तों ने भाग लिया।

कुछ बेहद महत्वपूर्ण ईमारतों में सम्मिलित हैं- देहरादून घंटाघर, वन अनुसंधान संस्थान, सीएनआई ब्यॉज इंटर कॉलेज, मॉरीसन मेमोरियल चर्च, इनामुल्लाह भवन, जामा मस्जिद, ओशो ध्यान केन्द्र, इंडियन मिलिटरी एकेडमी तथा दरबार साहेब यहाँ के दर्शनीय भवन हैं और वास्तुकला की दृष्टि से विशेष महत्व रखते हैं।
