12 जून 1967 को मलाया और ब्रिटिश बोर्नियो डॉलर के सममूल्य पर उनके स्थान पर नए केंद्रीय बैंक बैंक निगारा मलेशिया द्वारा जारी मलेशियाई डॉलर ने लिया।
