क्वार्टजाइट हिंदी उपयोग और उदाहरण

ग्रेनाइट, कैल्साइट, क्वार्टजाइट, चूना पत्थर, ब्रेक्सिया, रेतीला पत्थर आदि जिले में पाए जाने वाले प्रमुख खनिज हैं।

ये मुख्यतः आग्नेय अथवा रवेदार हैं जिनमें ग्रेनाइट, नीस, बेसाल्ट बलुआ-पत्थर व क्वार्टजाइट मुख्य हैं।

क्वार्टजाइट एक दानेदार मेटामॉर्फिक चट्टान है जो बहुत उत्तम क़्वालिटी के क्वॉर्ट्ज़ से बनी होती है और इसके अंदर क्वॉर्ट्ज़ के कण इस प्रकार से होते है कि अगर इस पर कोई भारी दाब लगाया जाए तो ये छोटे छोटे कणों मे बिखर जाएगा|यह बलुआ पत्थर के ऱीक्रिस्टलाईज़ेशन के बाद उत्पन्न होता है|।

अन्य पत्थरों का भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है (जैसे संगमरमर, स्लेट, क्वार्टजाइट, आदि), लेकिन ये सब विशेष इलाकों मे ही सीमित माने जाते हैं।
