अफसान हिंदी उपयोग और उदाहरण

दसवीं शताब्दी ईस्वी के अरब लेखक और इतिहासकार मसऊदी के अनुसार अल्फ लैला की कथामाला का आधार फारसी की प्राचीन कथामाला 'हजार अफसाना' है।

अल्फ लैला की कई कहानियाँ जैसे 'मछुवारा और जिन्न' 'कमरुज्जमा और बदौरा' आदि कहानियाँ सीधे 'हजार अफसाना' से जैसी की तैसी ली गई हैं।
