மெய்யியல் நக்சல்பாரி இந்தியாவின் மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலத்தில் இருக்கும் ஓர் கிராமமாகும்.

டைமெத்தில் சல்பாக்சைடு ஆக்சிசனேற்றமடைந்து டிரைகார்பன் மோனாக்சைடு ஈந்தணைவியாக டிரைகார்பன் டையாக்சைடுடன் இணைகிறது .

சல்பாக்சைடுகள் ஆக்சிடைசல்போடோன் (Oxydisulfoton) என்பது C8H19O3PS3 என்ற மூலக்கூற்று வாய்ப்பாட்டால் விவரிக்கப்படும் ஒரு கரிம வேதியியல் சேர்மமாகும்.

இவற்றைத்தவிர அசோச் சேர்மங்கள் (NN), இமைன்கள் (CN), சல்பாக்சைடுகள் (SO) போன்றன பிற எடுத்துக்காட்டுகளாகும்.

இந்தியாவின் மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள நக்சல்பாரி என்ற கிராமத்தில் அந்த நக்சல்பாரி இயக்கம் தொடங்கப்பட்டதால் மேற்கூறிய பெயர்களைப் பெற்றது.

1775ல் புனேயில் நடந்த பேஷ்வாக்களின் வாரிசுரிமைப் போராட்டத்தில் கிழக்கிந்திய கம்பெனி ஆட்சியினர் தலையிட்டதின் பேரில் நடந்த முதலாம் ஆங்கிலேய-மராத்தியப் போரின் முடிவில் 17 மே 1782ல் ஆங்கிலேயர்களுக்கும், மராத்தியர்களுக்கும் ஏற்பட்ட சல்பாய் ஒப்பந்தப்படி, சால்செட்டி தீவு மற்றும் பரூச் துறைமுகநகரங்கள் மீண்டும் ஆங்கிலேயேர்களுக்கு திருப்பி வழங்கப்பட்டது.
