இரண்டு கௌதம புத்தரின் மார்பளவு பகுதிகளும், ஒரு கால் பகுதியும், மகாயான போதிசத்வர் அல்லது அவலோகிதேசுவரர் எனக்கருதத்தக்க சிற்பத்தைக் கொண்ட ஒரு கற்பலகையும், ஒரு சிறிய காவற்கல்லும், ஒரு பிள்ளையார் சிலையும் இவ்விடத்தில் அழிபாடுகளிடையே காணப்பட்ட பிற தொல்லியல் சின்னங்கள்.

கார்பாக்சிலிக் அமிலங்களின் எத்திலீன் கார்பனேட்டு மற்றும் அமில N-H குழுக்களைக் கொண்ட பளமோட்டைக் கல்வெட்டு என்பது, இலங்கையின் கிழக்குப்பகுதியில் உள்ள கந்தளாய்ப் பகுதியில், போதன்காடு என்னும் இடத்தில் பழையகாலத்துச் சிவன் கோயில் ஒன்றின் அழிபாடுகளிடையே கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு தமிழ்க் கல்வெட்டு.

மொஹெஞ்சதாரோவின் அழிபாடுகள் தொல்பொருள் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களால் முதன் முதலில் 1920களில் கண்டறியப்பட்டது.

எனினும் ஏப்ரல் 1997 ஆம் ஆண்டில், யுனெஸ்கோவின் ஆதரவில், மொஹெஞ்சதாரோ அழிபாடுகளை வெள்ளத்திலிருந்து பாதுகாப்பதற்கான திட்டம் ஒன்று தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

இம்மூன்று கோட்டைகளுமே இப்போது அழிபாடுகளாகவே உள்ளன.

இந்தக் கட்டுமானம் செப்டம்பர் 11, 2001 அழிபாடுகளை நினைவுகொள்ளும் வண்ணமாகவும் மீளமைக்கும் வண்ணமுமாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.
