நோய் தொற்று, நுரையீரல் இரத்த குழாய் அடைப்பு, காசநோய், இடைத்தோலியப்புற்றுநோய் மற்றும் பிற நிலைமைகளினால் தானாகவே ஏற்படும் உட்தசை அழற்சி இவற்றிற்கு காரணமாக அமையலாம்.

உட்தசைகள், வெளித்தசைகள் என்ற இரண்டு தசைகள் புறச்செவியுடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டுள்ளன.
