இப்பறவையைச் சிறப்பிப்பதற்காக இலங்கை அஞ்சல் திணைக்களம் வெளியிட்ட ஐந்து ரூபாய் முத்திரையொன்றில் இதன் உருவம் பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கண்ணாடியில் பார்க்கும் போது கூட நாம் இன்னும் இளமையாக, அழகாகத்தான் இருக்கிறோம் என்று நினைத்துப் பார்த்தால் உருவம் அழகாகத்தானிருக்கும்.
