பயனற்ற ஆடுகளை வைத்திருப்பதால் மந்தைகளில் இட நெருக்கடியும், தீவனப் பற்றாக்குறையும் கிடைக்க வேண்டிய நிகர இலாபமும் குறைகிறது அல்லது பாதிக்கப்படுகிறது.

இறுதி நாளில் மந்தை வெளியில் அமைக்க பட்ட சுடலை மரத்தை தீயிட்டு கொளுத்தி கொண்டாடுவர்.

இவர்களில் ஆபேல் என்பது பெயர் சொல்லிலக்கணத்தின்படிக்கு இபில்(ibil) எனப்படும் மந்தையாளர் அல்லது பண்ணையாளர் என பொருள்படுமான நவீன அராபிய மொழியின் இணைச்சொல்லில் இருந்து உருவாகியிருக்கலாம் என எண்ணப்படுகிறது.
