திசம்பர் 2009 இல் 7000 சதுரமீட்டர் பரப்பில் மூலிகைத் தோட்டம் ஒன்று இங்கு அமைக்கப்பட்டது.

இவை தவிர ஓவியம்,சிற்பம், மருத்துவம், மூலிகை, சமையல்கலை(1912) குறித்த நூல்கள் உள்ளன.

கொடிமலையின் மேற்தளத்தில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள உணவு மையம், மக்கள் நிகழ்ச்சி மேடை, பழமை வாய்ந்த சுப்பிரமணிய ஆலயம், புத்தர் ஆலயம், மூலிகைப் பூங்கா, தங்கும் விடுதிகள் போன்றவை, சுற்றுப் பயணிகளைப் பெரிதும் கவர்ந்து வருகின்றன.

சிறுமலையின் அடிவாரத்தில் அமைந்த இக்கோயில் பன்னெடுங்காலமாக மரங்கள் அடர்ந்து, பல அரிய மூலிகைகளின் உறைவிடமாக இருந்தது.

டெட்ராமெத்திலமோனியம் குளோரைடு மற்றும் அதன் தருவிக்கப்பட்ட ஹெக்ஸமெதோனியம், ஹைட்ராலாசைன், மற்றும் ( “ரௌவுல்ஃபியா ஸெர்பென்டினா” எனும் மூலிகை தாவரத்திலிருந்து தருவிக்கப்பட்ட) ரெஸெர்பைன் மிக பிரபலமாகவும் நியாயமான செயல்திறன் மிக்கதாகவும் இருந்தன.

அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள இடங்களில் பசுமையான தாவரங்களும் மற்றும் மூலிகைகளும் அலங்கரிக்கின்றன.

முதலில் மரபு மூலிகைகளால் தேநீர்கள் இறக்கப்பட்டு வழிபாடுகளில் மட்டும் கூடுதலான மருந்துகளாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டன.

இம்மூலிகை இருமல், வாந்தி, விக்கல், சன்னி, சுரம், வயிறு தொடர்பான நோய்கள் போன்றவற்றை நீக்கும்.

இதன் பட்டையும் பழமும் மூலிகை மருத்துவத்தில் பயன்படுகின்றன.

இது கீரையாகவும், மூலிகையாகவும் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.

மறைந்த தமிழ் நூல்கள் இங்கு தமிழக மூலிகைகளின், ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட, தாவர வகைப்பாட்டியல் பெயர்களுடன், குடும்பவாரியாகப் பட்டியலிடப்பட்டுள்ளன.
