ஆதிச்சநல்லூரில் கோட்டைச்சுவர் ஒன்று இந்தியத் தொல்லியல் ஆய்வகத்தை சேர்ந்த ஆய்வாளர் சத்தியமூர்த்தியின் மேற்பார்வையில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது.

இப்படி ஒளியுருவை நேராக்கும் முறையை இகுனாசியோ போரோ (Ignazio Porro) என்னும் இத்தாலிய ஒளிக்கருவியாளர் 1854இல் கண்டுபிடித்து காப்புரிமம் பெற்றிருக்கிறார்.
