ਇੱਕ ਦੰਦ ਕਥਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਜਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੌਣੋਂ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਿੜਾ ਕੇ ਛੱਪੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੋਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ 24 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1672 ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਛੱਪੜ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੋਹੜ ਦੇ ਦਰਖਤ ਥੱਲੇ ਰਹੇ।
