भगन्दर रोग होने का सबसे प्रमुख कारण यह है कि जब किसी व्यक्ति के मलद्वार के पास कोई फोड़ा बन जाता है और उसमें जब कई मुंह बन जाते हैं और रोगी व्यक्ति इस फोड़े से छेड़छाड़ करता है तो उसे यह रोग हो जाता है।

घातक कोशिका नासूर (लगभग 80-85%)।

आक की जड़ के लेप से बिगडा हुआ फोड़ा अच्छा हो जाता है।

चरण 0 - पीठिका (स्वस्थानीय नासूर) में बिना घुसे उपकला का पूर्ण-सघन आवेष्टन।

पित्तरोग, शरीर दर्द, फोड़ा, खूनी बवासीर, तिल्ली रोग, रतौंधी, नेत्रदाह, मलेरिया, कान दर्द तथा पुल्टिस के रूप में लाभदायक है।

अधिक चटपटी चीजें खाने के कारण मलद्वार के पास फोड़ा हो जाता है जो आगे बढ़कर भगन्दर का रूप ले लेता है।

शरीर में एक फोड़ा हो गया जो लाख उपाचार के बाद भी ठीक नहीं हो पाया।

यह फोड़ा कभी-कभी बहुत चौड़ा तथा गहरा होता है।
