इसी का दूसरा नाम शूली पर चढ़ना अथवा इंद्रियों को वश में करना है।

विश्व के प्रमुख दैनिक समाचार पत्र विशिष्ट कार्यों हेतु पशुओं को पालने और उनका प्रजनन कराने को ही पालतू बनाना कहते हैं।
