आऩा, कुम्हलाना, गरजना, घिघियाना, टकराना, तुतलाना, पछताना, पड़ना, सकना, लँगड़ाना, सिसकना, होना, पाना आदि क्रियाओं से प्रेरणार्थक क्रियाएँ नहीं बनतीं।

नित्य जीव के लिए शोक करना उतना ही व्यर्थ है जितना अनित्य शरीर को बचाने की चिंता।

जैनधर्म की मान्यता अनुसार हरिण की यह शिक्षा है कि 'तुम भी संसार में संगीत के समान प्रिय लगने वाले चापलूसों / चमचों की दिल -लुभाने वाली बातों में न फ़ंसना, अन्यथा बाद में पछताना पडेगा।

ऐसा करती तो पछताना पड़ता।
