यही नहीं कामना यह भी की गई कि इस जीवन के समाप्त होने पर हम स्वर्ग में जाएँ और इस सुख व आनंद की निरंतरता वहाँ भी बनी रहे।

कुल मिलाकर वैदिक काल के लोगों का जीवन प्रफुल्लित, आह्लादमय, सुखाकांक्षी, आशावादी और‍ जिजीविषापूर्ण था।
