वस्तुत: इसी पर घड़ी की परिशुद्धता और यथार्थता निर्भर करती है।

उनमें नाटकीय व्यंग्य है, गतिशीलता है, अप्रत्याशित एवं मौलिक परिस्थितियों के उद्भावन की दक्षता है और अलौकिक, आधिदैविक, अतिक्रमित प्राकृतिक पात्रों-घटनाओं का प्रयोग होने पर भी चरित्रों और परोक्ष चित्रण द्वारा यथार्थता या वास्तविकता का आभास देने में इन नाटकों को सफल कहा जा सकता है।

इससे राम को मानवीय धरातल पर समझने की बड़ी स्वस्थ दृष्टि मिलती है और कोरी भावुकता के स्थान पर संघर्ष की यथार्थता उभर कर सामने आती है।

जीवन के इनके चित्रों में अभिव्यंजक निरूपण की सूक्ष्म यथार्थता के सहित सजीव गति तथा रेखाओं के प्रवाह का ऐसा सम्मिलन पाया जाता है जैसा इसके पूर्व के किसी चित्रकार में नहीं मिलता।
