1885 ई0 के ऐंड्रोमिडा नीहारिका के अतिनवतारे ने छह दिनों में इतना अधिक प्रकाश विकीर्ण किया कि सूर्य कदाचित्‌ उतने प्रकाश को 10 लाख वर्षो में विकीर्ण कर पाएगा।
