किन्तु लेखन प्रौद्योगिकी ने बहुत अधिक विकास किया और प्रिन्टिंग प्रेस, टाइपराइटर आदि से होते हुए वह कम्प्यूटर युग में पहुँच गयी है जहाँ बोलकर भी लिखना सम्भव हो गया है।

१३ वर्ष की आयु में लेसिंग की विधिवत शिक्षा का अंत हो गया।

कम्प्यूटर प्रोग्रामों की सहायता से भारतीय लिपियों को परस्पर परिवर्तन बहुत आसान हो गया है।

दूसरा विवाह एक जर्मन राजनैतिक कार्यकर्ता गॉटफ्रीड लेसिंग से किया जिसकी परिणति भी १९४९ में तलाक के रूप में हुई।

इसमें संस्कृत के शब्द कम होते हैं, और फ़ारसी-अरबी के शब्द अधिक।

अपने भाई हैरी के साथ प्राकृतिक जगत के रहस्यों को सम्झने-बूझने में लगी लेसिंग को अनुशासन, घरेलू साफ़-सफ़ाई व घरेलू तथा सामान्य लड़की बनाने आदि के प्रति माँ बहुत सतर्क व कठोर रहीं।

इसे ग्रीक पाण्डुलिपि में गोथोल्ड एफ्रेम लेसिंग के द्वारा खोजा गया, यह 44 लाइनों की कविता से बनी है, जिसे वोल्फानबुट्टेल, जर्मनी में हर्जोग अगस्त पुस्तकालय में पाया गया।

इस संस्करण को लोकप्रिय बनाने के लिए इसकी कीमत बहुत कम राखी गयी है, मुझे उम्मीद है कि इस साहस को गुजराती और हिंदी पढ़ने वाले सफल करेंगे।

यह हिन्दुस्तानी भाषा की एक मानकीकृत रूप है जिसमें संस्कृत के तत्सम तथा तद्भव शब्दों का प्रयोग अधिक है और अरबी-फ़ारसी शब्द कम हैं।

(या "की क्लेसिंग" i.e., यानी दूसरे के साथ धुन से बाहर).।

मेरा अभिप्राय यह है कि अगर देवनागरी लिपि में गुजराती किताब छपेगी तो भाषा को सीखने में आने वाली आधी दिक्कतें तो ऐसे ही कम हो जाएँगी।

इसमें फ़ारसी-अरबी के शब्द उर्दू की अपेक्षा कम होते हैं।

कहने की आवश्यकता नहीं है कि कम्प्यूटर युग आने से (या प्रिंटिंग की नई तकनीकी आने से) देवनागरी से सम्बन्धित सारी समस्याएँ स्वयं समाप्त हों गयीं।
