इस रोग के तथा इंफ्लुएंजा, मलेरिया, तपेदिक, मोतीझरा आदि रोगों के लक्षण आपस में मिलने के कारण विशेष समूहन परीक्षा तथा त्वचा में टीका परीक्षण से रोग निदान होता है।
