उपयोगिता के कारण यूकेलिप्टस अब अमरीका, यूरोप, अफ्रीका एवं भारत में बहुतायतश् से उगाया जा रहा है।

वन उत्पादों में सागवान, यूकेलिप्टस, काजू, कैस्यूरीना और इमारती लकड़ी मुख्य रूप से हैं।

यहां के वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार इसके लिए इमली के बीज, बेल और अनार के छिलके, यूकेलिप्टस की छाल, अमलतास की फली का गूदा, प्याज का उपरी छिलका, चुकन्दर, हल्दी आदि वानस्पतिक पदार्थों से रंग तैयार करके उनको एक निश्चित अनुपात में बन्धकों एवं पाउडर के साथ मिलाकर पीला, लाल, गुलाबी, हरा, भूरा, नीले आदि रंगों में हर्बल गुलाल तैयार किया गया।
