जिसके कुछ समय बाद उनके सर पर या नाक पर खुजली मचती तो समझा जाता कि उनके घर कुछ अनहोनी हो रही है।

इससे छींक आना, नाक बहना, आंखों का लाल होना, नाक बंद होना व आंखों में खुजली आदि की परेशानी हो सकती है।

दूषित वातावरण तथा प्रदूषण के कारण भी आंखों में जलन, खुजली, थकान आदि से आंखों की पुतलियों पर जोर पड़ता है।

उदाहरण स्वेदज का अर्थ है, स्वेद(पसीने)से पैदा होने वाला, जैसे- पैरों पर पसीना आने पर भी जब उसे साफ नही किया जाता है तब लगभग एक सप्ताह बाद बालों की जड़ के पास अति सूक्ष्म कीड़े पैदा हो जाते है, जो काले रंग के गोल आकार के होते है,इनका पता तब चलता है, जब तेज़ खुजली प्रारंभ हो जाती है।

सरसों रस और विपाक में चरपरा, स्निग्ध, कड़वा, तीखा, गर्म, कफ तथा वातनाशक, रक्तपित्त और अग्निवर्द्धक, खुजली, कोढ़, पेट के कृमि आदि नाशक है और अनेक घरेलू नुस्खों में काम आता है।

आंखों में खुजली होने पर भी इमली असरकारक है।

चर्मरोगों में (दाद, खाज, खुजली, फोड़े-फुंसी आदि) सुबह-शाम 6 से 8 ग्राम त्रिफला चूर्ण लेना चाहिए।

दाद, खाज खुजली पर और गजकर्ण इस पर पपीते का चीक लगाने से फायदा होता है।

জজজ लक्षण या तो स्थानीय या सर्वांगी हो सकता है और योनि में खुजली, सूजन, लालिमा, या संपर्क के 30 मिनट के भीतर छाले भी हो सकते हैं।

इनमे सामान्य खुजली, खराश और यहां तक कि सांस लेने में कठिनाई भी शामिल हो सकती है।

रोगी को खुजली तथा जलन की अनुभूति होती है।

विषाणु द्वारा उत्पन्न संक्रमणों में खुजली या 'जलन' होती है।

Certain skin diseases, as psoriasis, pemphigus and occasionally chronic eczema, are much benefited by its use, though occasionally a too prolonged course will produce the very lesion for which under other circumstances it is a cure.

In some skin diseases such as psoriasis, chronic eczema and acne indurata, phosphorus is very useful, and cases of diabetes mellitus and lymphadenoma have improved under some of its compounds.

Various morbid conditions of the body generally may give rise to different symptoms. Thus a gouty condition may manifest itself in one man as eczema of the skin, giving rise to redness and intense itching; in another as neuralgia, causing most severe pain; in a third as bronchitis, producing a distressing cough; in a fourth as dyspepsia, giving rise to flatulence and intestinal disturbance; and in a fifth as inflammation of the great toe, accompanied by redness, swelling and pain.

It has an extraordinary power over the pain of acute gout; it lessens the severity and frequency of the attacks when given continuously between them, and it markedly controls such symptoms of gout as eczema, bronchitis and neuritis, whilst it is entirely inoperative against these conditions when they are not of gouty origin.

Used externally it is an antiseptic and disinfectant, and is used 5 to 10% in ointments in the treatment of chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema of a sub-acute character.

Externally it is antiparasitic, and is used in certain stages of eczema and psoriasis, and the alcoholic solution has been used in ringworm; internally it has been employed as an intestinal antiseptic in typhoid fever.

But when the irritation is situated in the skin itself, as in eczema, the scratching tends to increase inflammation, and makes the irritation worse.

Soft soap is used by dermatologists in the treatment of chronic eczema, and opodeldoc is a domestic remedy for stiffness and sprains.

The oleate has been used in chronic eczema and psoriasis and locally in cancer.
