लेकिन इससे होली पर गाए-बजाए जाने वाले ढोल, मंजीरों, फाग, धमार, चैती और ठुमरी की शान में कमी नहीं आती।

बच्चे-बूढ़े सभी व्यक्ति सब कुछ संकोच और रूढ़ियाँ भूलकर ढोलक-झाँझ-मंजीरों की धुन के साथ नृत्य-संगीत व रंगों में डूब जाते हैं।

कई बार कान का परदा फट जाता है, जिससे पस कान के बाहर बहने लगता है, लेकिन फटा हुआ कान का परदा जल्दी ठीक भी हो सकता है।
